6/21的練習: practice on 6/21
今天主要練習的是插地拳及上翻肘纏摔,基本的原理、卸化的軌跡相近。
下面是廖師兄的練習及我的示範(此為大纏用法)
We practice the Up-side down pounch and Up-turn elbow throwing today. The main track of these two movement is similiar.
Below is Mr. Liao's practice, and also mine. (We use the grand twist skill)

在今天的練習中,有兩位來訪的客人,一位是我當初在在美國認識的Riker,另一位則是他妹,基於宗岳門神奇的訓練法,我們可以在一天的時間內,就將基本的五弓椿及基本的小纏發勁讓這兩位沒受過什麼拳術正式訓練的人學會這樣的技巧,宗岳門的練習方法實在是傳統武學訓練的一大突破!
雖然Riker及湯小姐家住台北,短時間內不會至本館學習,但Riker已表示對宗岳門太極拳的高度興趣,或許,可考慮到萬蓁道館學習。
本日廖師兄的進度是練習小纏發勁。而以下影片分別是Riker及湯小姐演練小纏發勁的狀況。
We have two visitors today. Riker, who is my roommate when I was in Texas, and his younger sister visited this class. Base on the magic trainning method, people can learn the basic five-bow stand and the small twist skill in just one class. That's really an amazing thing for the traditional Chinese Kung-Fu trainning.
Although they live in Taipei, Riker show that he is very interested in learning ZongYue Taichi. Maybe he has to learn that in Taipei.

太極拳要怎麼練習才會進步 How to improve our skill when we practice Taichiquan?
有人說:「瘋子,是不斷地重複做著同樣的事情,卻期待有不同的結果。」雖然這是大家都能理解的事,但有太多太多的人,卻是身陷其中而不自知,有多少人日復一日、年復一年的在公園裡打著太極拳套路,雖然在學會套路後一直沒有武術、防身的進一步訓練,卻期望能在多年的學習之後,自然產生神奇的功夫可以防身、技擊,我們可以大聲的說,這是不可能的,面對經過訓練的對手,沒有充足的訓練,是不可能獲勝的。
就如同要學游泳,有很多教練會教學員在岸上學習手腳的動作,但在一段時間的訓練後,一定要進入水中做游泳的練習,在岸上的練習雖然也可以強身健體使身體健康,但學員是沒法子從岸上的練習學會水中的游泳的,雖然,看起來動作幾乎是一樣的。
要讓太極拳進步,很重要的一點是要實踐,在有限度的範圍內,了解拳術的使用法並加以練習,不然,就如同在岸上學游泳一樣,下水還是會溺水的。
實踐什麼,首先要先知道自己要學什麼樣的太極拳,先知道自己要什麼,才能判斷自己是否在正確的方向上前進,是趨近目標呢?還是在遠離目標?如果學的拳是要能養身、防身,另外還要能有機會示範一些不懂太極拳的人會覺得驚奇的技巧,那就要謹慎選擇老師及學習的方法。選對老師就能較他人進步快得多,之後,我會有專文討論怎麼選擇老師。
Someone told me that “Only the mad people will try to get different results from doing the same thing.” Although it’s so easy to understand, but a lot of people do this kind of things without realizing that.
So many people practice Taichiquan (Taijiquan) form in the park day after day, year after year. They never practice how to do self-defense and how to fight, but they believe they can have an insight of fight after long time practice of the form. That’s impossible. When people meet the opponent who has been trained for fight, the winner will be the one who has been trained for fight, not the one who has been trained for “Form”.
Just like learning swimming, some coaches teach the movement on land and request people to practice that on land. After a period of time, the coaches always ask people to practice that in water. Although the practice on land can also help people healthily, people can’t learn swimming on land even the movement looks the same.
The way to improve our Taichiquan skill is to practice. We need to know the way to use Taichiquan and then practice it. People who learn Taichiquan without knowing the method to use can’t use the Taichiquan to fight in fight. That is the same that people who practice swimming on land will be drowned in water.
We need to know which kind of Taichiquan (Taijiquan) we want. For fight only, for healthily only, or combined everything together. After we set our goal, we can measure if we got closer to our goal or not. Normally, we need to find a master to learn any kind of body skill, no mater it’s Taichiquan (Taijiquan) or Yoga. I will discussed how to pick a good master in next discussion.
6/7的練習: practice on 6/7
在練習小纏的過程中,陳師兄發現椿的強度會直接影響到小纏發勁的好壞,這也是為什麼我們在入門第一天就要求練習五弓大展椿的原因,我們沒有要求大家都先練個三、五個月椿才開始其它的練習的原因是因為這樣的學習,是很難提起現代人的興趣的,而且是不合時宜的,所以宗岳門在學員達到基本的要求後,我們就會進行下一個階段的訓練,當學生發現有需要回去補強各個練習時,學生自然會回去補強來增進自己的功力。
Mr. Chen found that the body structure ("Chun") will impact the "Small Twist Skill" a lot. That's why we teach people to practice five-bow stand at the first day. The reason why we do not practice only the five-bow stand in class for three to five month is that won't help people to keep practice Taichiquan (Taijiquan). People will feel that is boring and stop practicing Taichiquan.
ZongYue Taijiquan (Taichiquan) will keep teaching new skills when people reach the basic requiremtnt for five-bow stand. That will keep people learnning Taichiquan (Taijiquan). People will strengthen the five-bow stand when they feel that will help their new skill. That is what we want. We hope people can keep practice and strengthen everything they learned before.

特別報導: 6月起,仍將維持每週六提供10:00到10:30免費體驗課程一次, 參與該課程者在課程結束後可觀摩課程教學至12:00,於正式上課期間,參觀者請勿打斷上課過程, 欲參加者請於上課前2天告知.
The practice schedule in May 2008 is as below: 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28 Saturday Morning 10:30~12:00
Special News! Xing-Jian Class will keep provide the free class for once per person on every Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:30. We will introduce the basic movement of Taiji (Taichi) in that class. After class, visitor can keep stay in the classroom until 12:00 but the visitor can't ask questions in the regular class. Please inform the master 2 days before the class if you want to have this class.
5/31的練習: practice on 5/31
今天和上週的練習一樣是在小纏發勁的部份,唯一不同的地方在於今天多了一位趙先生來拜訪,在宗岳門五弓椿的要求下,趙先生在短短的3分鐘內,就學會了能承受強大外力讓人推不動的椿,接下來,就只是要多加練習,讓舉手投足都能維持這樣的結構,趙先生也才了解了為什麼宗岳門強調的大鬆大柔並不是那種毫無威力的身體放軟而已,希望大家能多一點好奇心來參訪宗岳門的道館,大家應該都能有或多或少的收獲才是。
Today we still practice the "Small Twist Skill", and the only difference was we had a visitor, Mr. Zhao. Mr.Zhao learned our basic form of stand , Wu-Gong-Chun, which means five-bow stand, in 3 minutes. Five bows are two hands, two legs and our body. This kind of stand can sustain a powerful pressure.
I really hope everyone can keep the curiosity to contact the ZongYue Taichi. We all have the possibility to learn something from each other.
